MooMoo Sunwear has been specially developed to provide maximum sun protection (UPF 50+) for little ones growing up in South Africa, where we experience some of the harshest sun on the planet.

The UV top has long sleeves to minimize the amount of exposed skin (and reduce the amount of sunscreen needed) The knee-length shorts offer added protection to the legs while still allowing comfortable play in the shallow waters.

 

GARMENT CARE:

  • rinse after each use (chlorine is an active chemical and will continue to corode even after your costume is out of the pool)
  • wash in cold water
  • turn garment inside out or dry in shade
  • hang to dry (do not tumble dry)
  • flourescent colours are less light fast, so extra care should be taken. Do not leave in direct sunlight for extended period of time. Dry in a shaded area.

Having a top and pants set makes it a little easier to deal with toilet breaks and potty training with a wet cozzie.

The rash vests are available with a cute cow print.

PLEASE NOTE: This item is a FLUORESCENT / NEON colour.

Flourescent colours are fun and visible but are less light fast and therefore fade faster than regular colours, so we ask that you take extra care with your swimwear:

  • Dry garment inside out or in the shade
  • Don’t leave lying in the sun for extended period of time
